In recent years, Chongzuo City of Guangxi has intensified efforts to take measures to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of wood processing industry, and achieved good results.
Chongzuo City continues to focus on the target of building 10 billion yuan of forest industrial output value put forward by the municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, and takes the Nanchong Economic Zone as the overall layout, focusing on promoting the construction of four major forestry industrial parks. The city has basically built four major forestry industrial parks: Chongzuo Longzan ASEAN International Forestry Recycling Economy Industrial Park in Guangxi, Guangxi Shandi Industrial Park, Guoxu (Ningming) Forestry Industrial Park in Guangxi and Youyiguan Industrial Park in Pingxiang Border Economic Cooperation Zone. In order to implement the "sugar, manganese and wood" proposed by the Municipal Committee, Chongzuo will make full use of its rich forestry resources and do a good job of the "wood" article. Firstly, we should further strengthen the awareness of "daring to take responsibility, doing well and serving well", solve the difficult problems of enterprise development, and strengthen the confidence and determination of enterprises in Chongzuo's development; secondly, we should continuously cultivate and strengthen leading enterprises, enhance the demonstration-driven effect and enhance the market competitiveness of Chongzuo's timber processing industry. We will vigorously support leading enterprises such as Xiangsheng Wood Industry and Hengyu Wood Industry to build a "tree-shaped" timber processing industry structure. Third, we will continue to expand and strengthen the construction of Chongzuo Longzan ASEAN International Forestry Circular Economy Industrial Park and other four major parks to promote industrial agglomeration development and enhance the development capacity of Chongzuo Wood Processing Industry. Fourthly, we will strengthen and improve veneer and wood flooring base materials and enhance Chongzuo Wood Processing Industry. The attraction of processing industry. At the same time, we should work out forestry development plans with high standards, promulgate preferential policies to support the development of wood processing industry, innovate ways of attracting investment in wood processing industry, plan to host the China (Chongzuo) Forum on the Development of Wood Processing Industry, expand and strengthen the wood processing industry, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the city's wood processing industry to pan-household industry.
In 2016, the output of wood-based panels in the city was 1.58 million cubic meters, and the output value of wood processing was 7.77 billion yuan, with more than 20,000 employees.
Since 2017, 33 new wood processing enterprises, such as composite flooring and furniture, have been introduced into the city, with a total investment of more than 1 billion yuan. Among them, 12 are located in Chongzuo Longzan ASEAN International Forestry Circular Economy Industrial Park, 18 are located in Guangxi Shandi Industrial Park, and 3 are located in Pingxiang and Ningming Industrial Park. In 2017, more than 50 new wood processing factories, such as plywood, will be added throughout the city, with a total output value of 10 billion yuan.
