The endothelium is yellow; the phloem fibers near the surface are well developed and can be torn into hemp filaments; the stone cells are well developed, granular and distributed in the epidermis. Cross section: Heart sapwood has obvious difference. Heartwood is light brown or yellowish brown with dark stripes. The sapwood is yellow-white and 5-8 cm wide. The growth ring is slightly obvious. Macroscopic structure: porous materials. Pipe holes can be seen under the naked eye, few, slightly larger; mainly single-pipe holes, a small number of diametral multiple-pipe holes (2-3, more than 2); abundant infiltration. Axial parenchyma is distinct, well developed, wing-shaped, polypterous, and a few bands under the naked eye. Wood ray magnifier is obvious, medium density, narrow to slightly wide.

Corrosion resistance. Quick drying, slightly warped. Sawdust can irritate the skin and cause skin diseases. The air-dry density ranged from 0.62 to 0.72 cm 3.
It is suitable for cutting decorative veneers, interior decoration, ** furniture, flooring, joinery, tanned leather barrels, ships, vehicles, bridges, marine materials, etc. It can replace teak (Tectongaspp.).
