Latin scientific name: Manilkara hexandra (Roxb.) Dubard
Manilkara hexandra (Roxb.) Dubard, Ranunculaceae, Clematis, from southwestern Hainan, Guangdong, southern Guangxi; India, Sri Lanka and the Central-South Peninsula are also distributed.
The wires are trees. Bark grayish brown, thick and rough; branchlets stout, with white milk, leaves thick, obovate or obovate oval, apex minute. Balata gum can be extracted from the bark of Coriander, which is the raw material for making coatings and adhesives. However, wire sawdust can cause skin allergies, so be careful when sawing wood. Wire wood has a strong corrosion resistance. It has been used as a doorframe in Sri Lanka and remains intact after 135 years. It can be used as a pile material underwater for up to 100 years.
Air-drying density is 0.97-1.18/cubic centimeter. Wood is very hard, straight texture, fine material, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, termite resistance, less shrinkage and twisting, more stable. Applicable to ** floor and wood products.
